One year ago, ICE raided our communities and arrested 680 people in the largest workplace ICE raid in US history. This was a blatant act of violence in retaliation to workers who spoke out against workplace abuse. Today, #WeAreStillStanding.

We’ve started organizing co-operatives to establish economic systems that aren’t dependent on our oppression. In the last year, we’ve laid the groundwork for 3 different co-operatives: a cleaning co-op, a grass-cutting co-op, and a sewing co-op. #WeAreStillStanding #SeguimosDePie
COVID hit us hard as many employers prioritized capital over our health and well-being. Since March, we’ve been training women to be community health workers (promotoras). The promotoras engage in mutual aid through responding to our health needs and delivering food.
On this #August7th, we are asking for people to stand in solidarity with those of us who have been detained, deported, and lost lives to COVID-19. #WeAreStillStanding - as strongly and resiliently as ever.
