Orwell has this line about Kipling that talks about how Kipling’s redeeming feature is that he identified with the ruling class and thus had to try and answer the question “what should we do?” (as opposed to British socialists who never had to seriously address the question).
Well American socialists are the same way.... and so are the American right. Except it is even more demanding for the American right because for the last four years they have actually held power.
Inability of the right to craft a workable health care solution in 2017 betrays the total bankruptcy of the Party and the movement behind it.
