That YALLABAI word makes him feel on the top of everything. He feels like if people call him that he has arrived. Instead of helping people around them to start something and look upon themselves, they rather give them 500 Naira daily. Something that will never produce anything.
There are many among us who are poor but have potentialities. All they need is somebody who will hold their hands and show them the way, but NO, they will not do it. They are afraid, they may start driving the type of cars they drive...

I believe once you help one or two people by engaging them, you also reduce the burden on yourself. But NO! They don't want to share that YALLABAI mentality with anybody.
A person might have it all but will still never let JEALOUSY and GREED out of their mind. They will make sure nobody around them step in where they stepped. The only goal is to be the only YALLABAI around.
Truly, we Northerners need to change our attitudes. We should learn to mentor others for tomorrow. This is how one will leave an excellent legacy behind.
