Internet feels very tense and hostile today. CW for real tree hugger hours, but something I try to practice first thing every morning is gratitude. I water my plants and thank them just for being.

So I'm going to try to practice some gratitude on the TL right now.

I'm grateful that folks smarter than me have paved the way for things like fandom events so that bumbling fools like me can throw something together and have it be successful!

I'm grateful there are folks who want to collaborate w/ me to make stuff about our favorite characters.

I'm grateful I have two discords full of fandom friends who I genuinely love hearing from every day and would miss terribly if we fell out of contact.

I'm grateful I found a place to play around in and be creative and see/read others' creative works!

I'm grateful to be at a stage in my life where I feel pretty good about walking away from content I'm not interested in and pretty unabashed about delving into content I AM interested in.

I'm grateful I'm relatively cool-headed and even-keeled even when things are tense.

I'm grateful that the sweet cat who lives in the neighborhood came to visit me this morning and let me hang out with her and give her pets.
