During Q&A session, someone asked Broward SOE, Pete Antonacci, if ballot images would be saved.

/2
In an AUDIT Elections USA filed a lawsuit on 7/2/2020, it was revealed that only 25 of 67 Florida counties were saving ballot images. According to state statute, ballot image is considered the official ballot of record.

/3
Antonacci confirmed ballot images would be saved for the August primary election, but not for November 3rd election.

/4
THE REASON: The storage capacity on current USB drives will not be large enough for expected turnout. Also, claims State Secretary will have to approve larger USB drives on state purchase list before county can purchase.

/5
During review of L&A test results, it was discovered that save all ballot image option was not enabled. Current setting will save only write-in ballots.

/6
Antonacci assured ballot images will be saved. Unless the Canvassing Board schedules another test prior to start of Early Voting on 8/8/2020, there is no way the option can be enabled without invalidating L&A certification.
