This is a big blow to @wandbc plans for #Roehampton. Have been expecting this since @RedrowHomes announced in June that they were pulling out of developments in London. https://twitter.com/sleighbayley/status/1291360981122195456
Residents have told the @WandsLD @PutneyLibDems that they'd like to be consulted more. We're calling on @wandbc @RaviGovindia1 to gather the views of local residents to find out what they'd like to happen next in their neighbourhood.
The #AltonRegeneration scheme had it's flaws:

environmental impact

So let's press pause and think again. I'd like to see lots of options on the table.
What about repairing and insulating some of the existing buildings instead of demolishing them and starting again? It would avoid huge disruption, waste, and carbon emissions.

I'll be following this closely and also asking questions about what happens to local amenities - like the youth club which was closed and the Coop which I understand is about to move...
