🔸Does the size of the pitch effect how pressing teams like Leeds and Liverpool play?

⚪In this thread I will concentrate more on Leeds as they are a promoted team and will relay more on their tactics to stay in the divison.

#FPLCommunity
I'll start off by talking about Leeds' formation and style of football under Bielsa, then go on to look at Championship pitch sizes and results before looking towards next season in the Premier League.
Bielsa's most used lineup last season was the 4-1-4-1 formation. His attacking fullbacks Ayling and Dallas, Kalvin Philips just in front of Cooper and White. Klich and Hernandez in front of him Philips Costa and Harrisson on both flanks and Bamford as a lone striker
Bielsa's pressing system uses every player on the pitch to either try and win the ball back or to get the opposition to kick the ball upfield. He uses every single player on the pitch to put the opposition under pressure. If they win the ball back from the press they can hit ....
teams on the counter attack. And if they hit the ball long the aeriel ability of the centre backs were strong enough to win the ball back. The centre backs had a percentage of 72.5% of defensive duels won.
Numbers that back this information up: [League rank]

⭐Possession won in the final 3rd: 218 [2nd]

⭐Passes Per Defensive Action (PPDA) focuses on how many passes a team allows the opposition to do before pressing to regain the ball: 5.86 [1st]
Now onto the football pitches of the Championship. I'll be looking at the results against teams with bigger pitches than Leeds and smaller pitches than Leeds.
The 6 biggest pitches in the Championship are the pitches of Nottingham Forest, Sheffield Wednesday, Middlesbrough, Blackburn, Huddersfield and Millwall. Out of the 6 games here only half of them lost to Leeds as seen here 👇.
The 6 smallest pitches in the Championship are thr pitches of Stoke, Luton, Birmingham, QPR, Barnsley and Cardiff. Out of the 6 games Leeds lost 2 👇
Leeds scored 5 more goals against the teams with smaller pitches than the teams with the bigger pitches. But they lost the same amount of games against both sets of teams.
In the Championship this season Leeds got 7 more points from home games than away games this season. The also scored 3 more goals at home.
Which Premier league pitches are the smallest?

King Power Stadium-Leicester City -6,834 m2

Goodison Park-Everton -6800 m2

Selhurst Park-Crystal Palace FC -6700 m2

Bramall Lane-Sheffield United -6600 m2

Craven Cottage-Fulham -6500 m2

Molineux-Wolverhampton Wanderers -6400 m2
Could we see Leeds winning these games? Does pitch size even matter? What do you all think?
