Had the native Tribals known about the impacts of the #RadioactivePoisioning , they would have fought against the #Uranium mining in Jadugoda. The ignorance and innocence of native Adivasis back in 1967 is costing their future today.
The absence of 'Environmental Impact Assessment' is giving birth to crippled children or many a times still births. The radioactive radiations have disfigured many permanently. It is creating a generation of Adivasis living in the anxiety of a bleak future.
Not only has the Uranium Mining destroyed flora and fauna, but has impacted the cultural practices of indigenous Tribals. It has stripped off the identity of Tribals residing near the Mines. The majoritarian politics today has just accelerated the cultural degradation of Adivasis
#EIA2020draft needs to be scrapped for the existence of millions of Tribals residing in India. India and the world needs to open it's eyes for saving it's people.
