Update: hadn't heard anything 11 days after reporting, so asked for an update. This is the official Police Scotland response;
"Thank you for your email. I have reviewed the incident that you refer to and can see that the vehicle was broadcasted to local officers for a look out
As there was no collision between yourself and the vehicle there would be no update passed to yourself. Any police involvement with this vehicle after the incident was reported, that had no direct involvement with yourself, would be unable to be passed out due to GDPR"
This is not right. No one even wants to look at the footage, which I didn't post online earlier incase it went to court (hah!)
And what the hell has GDPR got to do with anything?! You can't quote irrelevant legislation as justification for not taking this further. Really disappointed in Police Scotland.
