THREAD: Objective, fair and completely non biased Top 10 biggest clubs in England
10. Leeds United
Despite hating Leeds, people don’t understand how big of a club they are. Considering the area they’re located and the amount of fans they have they have potential to be a continental sized club like Chelsea. But recent history means they’re low on this list
9. Newcastle United
Same with Leeds. You can find Newcastle fans in pubs all over the world and they one have the best supported clubs in England. Bad ownership means they don’t seriously challenge at the top level anymore but remain a sleeping giant
8. Everton
One of England’s oldest clubs and a founder of the football league, Everton are one of England’s most historic clubs. 30 years ago you could say they were the second biggest club in the country. But they haven’t seriously challenged at the top level recently
7. Tottenham Hotspur
Despite what the haters say, they definitely deserve to be here. Jus toast year they were in a champions league final and they regularly get European football. They rank high in terms of attendances and major honours so they get 7th
6. Manchester City
Despite their success being down to a sugar daddy, they comfortably belong here. Mainly because of their unparalleled success in the past decade winning nearly very major honour possible except the champions league. The 6th biggest club in the land
5. Aston Villa
Winners of the European cup and one of the founders of the football league, don’t think anyone can argue with us being here.
4. Chelsea
Before 2003 Chelsea were a big club but not a GIANT club, they are now. They have won the champions league and regularly compete there along with winning 5 league titles in the last 17 years.
3. Arsenal
By far the biggest club in London and one of the biggest clubs in the world. Arsenal is a club with heritage, tradition and notoriety which puts it among England’s biggest clubs
2. Manchester United
The most recognisable club in English football without a doubt. Even children living in Africa know who Man United are. Sir Alex Ferguson built the biggest club in England and then it was destroyed by the glazers
1. Liverpool
The most successful and historic club in English football. Their European prestige rivals that of Barcelona and Real Madrid so they come top here. They have a massive and loyal fan base even though I hate them a lot🙂. They will remain on top for a long time
