Here's the thing...

Keir Starmer is a great leader...for a Centrist party. Everything he is, says & does is pure fap-worthy material for Centrists.

He is NOT a left-wing leader, by any stretch of the imagination. He has not indicated proposing ANY left-wing policies.
What does this mean for Labour as a party?

Well, we're back to the age-old schism, aren't we? True left-wing Socialists vs Liberal Centrists masquerading under the guise of 'Social Democratism'

Neither side is willing to cede ground to the other, which I understand perfectly
The thing to bear in mind is which side truly represents the politics you most identify with...

Starmer - member of Tri-Lateral commission (a capitalist think-tank)

The left - Socialists dedicated to things like worker's rights, cooperative society & balancing the power gap..
...between business and workers.

The Labour Party was founded as an alliance of Centrists, trades unions and Socialists to counter the overbearing exploitation of workers and it achieved much good.

The problem now is that the pressure put upon the most vulnerable in our...
...society by increasingly corrupt, exploitative and cruel Tory governments has widened the ideological gap between the Centrists and the Left of the Party.

Tony Blair's New Labour was Centrism of the purest sort. It paid lip-service to Socialism whilst still allowing the...
...exploitative actions of Capitalism to ride roughshod over the greatest Socialist achievement of the Labour Party, the NHS.

For Centrists, this is 'sensible politics'. It is not, however, Socialism. And under Starmer, Labour is not Socialist. It is Centrist, hence the huge...
...upswelling of support from Centrists who voted LibDem or would vote LibDem.

These Centrists are demanding that Socialists bend to their will and support their anointed one.

Sadly, to do so means compromising principles, which is something Socialists should never do.
You see, unlike the Centrist LibDems, climbing into bed with the Tories to act as their unwitting and gullible fall-guys, Socialist principles ARE NOT FOR SALE!

So, you can keep your Capitalism-adjacent leader, your flip-flopping fence-sitting and everything that goes with him..
...just don't expect us to shut up and put up.

The Labour Party may be finished, but Socialism is still alive and kicking and we will find a way to bring about Socialist government in the UK, whether you're with us or not.
