My kids were not looking forward to remote learning. It's not ideal, I'll admit. I did tell them though that they're going to gain some valuable soft skills that will be part of the working economy going forward. 1/
I've been full-time remote for a university that's thousands of miles away from where I live for almost 5 years. Almost everybody is remote now, but once we're on the other side of this whole COVID-19 thing, many people are going to stay remote... 2/
Were seeing the future of remote work, it will become common even in common circumstances. The attitudes and soft skills our children are learning by participating in remote learning will be valuable in the years and decades to come 3/
Work and education have been fundamentally shifted now.
