I’ve been fortunate enough to be able to spend my summer helping my brother and sister-in-law care for their 2yo.

During this pandemic and the childcare crisis, I have many critiques.

Here’s one...it’s those cars you can buy at CVS.

So far, I’ve been forced to purchase (at the urging of the 2yo) a bus, an orange Lamborghini Murcielago, a yellow truck, and a black Dodge Viper.

All of which are the pull back and release type. Lots of fun on wood floors and zero fun on carpet.

The bus, the Lambo and the bus were all rear-wheel drive.

The Viper? A famously rear-wheel drive car in real life was front-wheel drive.

This is an outrageous affront to car lovers and a disservice to the youth of our nation.

In conclusion, childcare is an equity issue and needs to be addressed.
