A quick thread this morning...

Reading these responses to Hallmark’s Wedding Every Weekend promos is making me both angry and sad.

Angry because of the way certain people reduce the LGBTQ community to who they are attracted to and nothing else.
No thoughts of love, joy, pain, hope, loss, and all the other emotions and life events People go through no matter who they love. Not to mention the fact that a ton of these movies are acted in, directed, written, produced, & worked on behind the scenes by actual LBGTQ people.
How dare you say that they don’t deserve to see themselves represented in these movies?

And sad because the LBGTQ community still has to see these comments. I’m so sorry. Please know that YOU ARE LOVED SO VERY MUCH.
Love is Love and the fact that Hallmark is highlighting joyful couples who look like real life couples is a reason to celebrate!
