*Sigh*. Here we go again. Long (~2hrs), in-person assessment with (female) psychiatrist in trauma service earlier this year. Told categorically not BPD. But short phonecall with (male) psychiatrist and here we are again. I have a lifelong deficit at the very core of who I am. 2/
Someone who spoke to me on the phone for 20mins is able to know this about me, just like that. Finding it hard not to make sweeping generalisations about all men, or at the very least, all men who go into psychiatry, right now. *Sigh* 3/
