I’m not a Biden supporter but I don’t think he needed to apologize for pointing out diversity among Latinos as opppsed to blacks. I took no offense and I’ll tell you why. Politically, Blacks vote Democrat over 90% consistently. Doesn’t seem very diverse to me.
Detroit is the blackest City in America and the race for mayor every 4 years is among Democrats, exclusively. The top two candidates in the primary face off in the general election. I know of no other place where this happens in the country. 83% Black = Democrat. No diversity.
Speaking to some veterans of the Detroit political landscape I floated the idea of Coleman Young II running as an Independent. They immediately balked. The explained black voters just go down the line voting Democrat and that might throw them off. These were blacks saying this.
I thought it would be a great idea for Coleman to run as an Independent because it would send a strong message to the DNC our support is not for free. The black political class has no problem pimping the black voters who trust in them. Biden was right and the truth is ugly.
Last year, a black man out of Chicago who once worked for the world bank tried to recruit me to work for the GOP. He claimed he was working with Chuck Vaughn out of Chicago. Vaughn is supposedly a big time GOP lobbyist. I never heard of him.
I was told the Republicans don’t like Trump and have their eye on 2024. They don’t care if he wins or lose. As explained to me if the GOP can get just 10% black vote in places like Pennsylvania they can win. I guess Candace Owens isn’t getting the desired results.
I get what they’re looking for. They want a strong black male voice because black women are firmly entrenched in Democrat propaganda. A voice such as mine. Although, there are black male conservatives they don’t have my credibility/authenticity to connect with our demographic.
I’m a black man who has been accused of serious crimes, had extensive dealings with the criminal justice system. There’s even case law created because of me. I can speak to things in a way your typical black conservative never could. That’s very powerful. I know my unique value.
The only problem is when approached to go Republican and help their cause I proposed they help me go independent in Detroit instead. I proposed if a Black candidate in a Democrat stronghold could win as an Independent it would inspire a real “Blexit” around the country.
What the GOP really wants is for black voters to be as loyal to them as they are to the DNC. What I want is for us to be FREE to choose. Neither party wants that but the ignorant and duplicitous bootlickers call me a “coon.” The irony of that.
