Dreams are intriguing. They are the movie set we, at times, wish to never leave. Sometimes we are fighting to find the nearest exit door, and at times we are thrilled, waiting for the next chapter to be unravelled.
BUT are all dreams about spiritual gifts or spiritual debt?

Granted, many have received messages about their calling through dreams and visions, myself included. This is not a thread aimed at discrediting dream interpretations or the path people are walking at the moment that heavily relies on dreams and visions.

Building a relationship with your Guides makes life much clearer. The vocabulary is easier to understand (sometimes you may dream of part of your lineage that didn't speak your current language). The symbolism easier to decipher. The setting (the "movie set") easily recognisable.
A relationship with your Guides helps a great deal when having to exercise Discernment.

However similarity doesn't mean exact interpretation. Let me type this again, in bold this time:

WATER DREAMS:
There's many interpretations under this category. Most healers have a lot of these
BUT ALSO:

- Fighting to stay above water because you are overwhelmed, you have too much on your plate

ANIMAL DREAMS:
-Being coiled by a python/ anaconda because you are surrounded by people you trust but who are sabotaging you behind your back
- Surrounded by snakes but they are not hurting you because no evil intention from others will prevail over you and the choices you make.

IMPORTANT I SAY THIS:
A Snake is not always a BAD OMEN. Most of the time it's actually a GOOD OMEN (also depending on what it does or how it reacts to you)

CRIMINALS:
- Being mugged because someone took what belongs to you or borrowed from you & never returned it (e.g business idea, creative concept, money, girlfriend/boyfriend

These are just SOME examples of what we may interpret as confirmation that we're supposed to be AbaThandazi, iSangoma, AbaPropheti, IziNyanga at first glance - kanti cha you're just in debt and your subconscious is reminding you to honour the word you made to the creditors 
This is also true of when going to consult and you're told "Unezitha eziningi. You have many enemies". SOMETIMES what this means is 1. You are in too much debt. 2. You make many promises that you don't keep. 3. Ideas are given to you by your Guides but you never execute them
Also, something like increasing your line of credit and getting yourself into more debt because you need the money, those INSTITUTIONS ARE GOVERNED BY SPIRITS.
The contract you sign is also a promise to those territorial spirits. In another thread I guess...

Discernment therefore helps us to make an honest judgement. We can't all interpret dreams so even when we seek out help, we are able to make better judgement of the interpretation. Is it a confirmation of something that's been at the back of your mind or is it something ongayazi?
I hope soon I can make a thread that addresses dreams of the gifted - those who are fully aware and those who might not be aware as yet but there are signs all over their life experiences.
