I’m going to make a Black Knight thread and I don’t know if anyone is interested. If not, that’s perfectly fine. But If you liked it, please share it. @NazarTalkComics @AnneComics @LetsTalkCap @EternalsTalks

Every now and then I go back and read 2015s Black Knight series.
That story alone will show you what kind of man Dane is. Even if you’ve never heard of him. It’ll take you through a short journey of a man who is highly respected by his peers, but a man also fighting the dark. If some of you didn’t know, Dane was an Avenger
And he was a good one. Cap once refered to Dane as one of his best friends and his military and tactical sense as “second to none.” And for a long time he held a spot in Roy Thomas’ Avengers run. Now he’s made appearances here and there like during secret invasion-
-he fought with Captain Britain and was also a member of MI-13. He’s recently appeared again in Empyre and seems to be gaining steam due to his upcoming appearance in The Eternals. 2015s Black Knight series is about a man trying to fight back the inevitable.
One thing I thought that was sad is how quickly Cap and some of the Avengers turned on him, Steve knowing full well what the blood curse was. In a matter of moments, some of his greatest friends were willing to fight for something he didn’t do to them. But I can understand it.
Dane has been fighting the blood curse the Ebony blade holds for about 30 years now. He once decided to give it up in favor of the photon sword (lightsaber). 30. Years. Cap couldn’t hold the blade for more than a day before he started to “turn.”
He would then go on to understand Danes situation a little, not very much but better than nothing, and let him continue his reign as the King of Weirdworld. At the end of the day, Dane is a character I’ve always like and only started reading because of the Black Knight title.
But he quickly became a favorite character of mine in anything I’ve read because of his constant will to resist the inevitable darkness the weapon he owns will bring. I’m excited for what the MCU will do with him and Kit Harrington is a great choice. And I hope his character-
-Is brought up more in marvel. If you made it this far, thanks for reading. Just putting my thoughts out there. And if anyone feels free to add anything go right ahead.
