1/ Saw a piece of wood almost buried in the sand. But something made me stop to check it out.

I’m glad I did because it wasn’t a piece of wood. This limulus (horseshoe crab) was in dire straits.
2/ Limuli are one of my favorite creatures. I’m on a rescue mission!
3/ Ok, now we’re by calm water. Time to put her in!
4/ Limuli have been around for 450 million years.
