Many will say is this Bal Thackeray's son? Yes, Bal was as bad as him. However, he positioned himself in the Hindutva pantheon with help from BJP leaders. There is hardly a single lasting legacy of his which can stand critical scrutiny to mark him out as Hinduhridaysamrat!

The Shivsena was birthed by a notorious @incindia with the prime aim of countering the powerful communist trade unions. The ruling congress state governments normalized Shivsena’s violent behavior with this aim in mind.+

The political succession of Aditya Thackeray was a monarchial Disneyesque "Lion King" spectacle. Bal Thackeray funnily declared that since he is not naming his son as his sucessor, it is not nepotism! He berated Sonia for her dynastism!

How ominous is it for the Thackeray clan that many years later Raj's nephew is on an identical path. This time, fate may not be so kind... The threat to SSR's life was apparent from early this year and Sushant's father complained to the Mumbai Police about it on 25th February.+
