My favourite kind of friendship is one where there's a mutual understanding of the fact that we both have our own lives so we won't be able to talk or hang out all the time but when we do talk or hang out it's like picking up right where we left off.

You don't need to text your friend every single day to still be friends. I have friends who checkup on me every 6 months and I know they're just doing their thing and we understand that it's all good. Someone's life doesn't have to revolve around you for them to still love you.
