Gearbox casing for Vauxhall Nova. 3rd gear failed during qualifying at Cadwell during 2011 Championship finals. ‘Box replaced at circuit in time for race - gear cluster thrown away but “that’s a good bellhousing, I should keep it”
2016 924 bumper from the @T8Racing era. Honestly not 100% sure when this got damaged, could have been at Donington when @gavinjohnson09 got wiped out by another car. Looked repairable but fibreglass bumpers were easily obtained and didn’t seem worth it. Replaced with...
...2017 first round @pdc_racing era 924 bumper. Based on previous tweet this bumper would have done just 2 events, the 2016 final and 2017 opener. This one bit the wall when I tried to pass stiggy Styrin around the outside on the last lap. Patched up for race 2, then replaced
Shortened fuel tank for Nova made in 2013, never used. Welder said it wasn’t nice to weld and wasn’t convinced it would hold fuel. Brand new tanks about £50 on the ‘bay at the time. Still in the garage roof.
2016 Nova wing from Mallory. Was lucky to escape with so little damage after hitting the errant wheel from the big Groom/Place crash in qualifying. Banged out for the race, replaced for next event. “I might need this in the future”. Trackside photos by Adam Lines
2017 924 front panel from a the Rockingham crash. Again, looked repairable but readily available. Possibly the biggest crash of my career, on a weekend where we’d already swapped the engine after qualifying.
Saxo VTR front trim. Never used, not sure why. Haven’t owned a Saxo since 2013
Damaged but not-outrageously-so Nova grill and front bumper from the 2017 Brands Hatch crash with Andrew Thorpe. Name-checked as I replaced them with parts from his old rally car that I bought in 2013 as a donor to help finish my racer!
256mm Vauxhall brake carrier. Shot blasted 7 years ago before noticing it was the wrong one. Car has 236mm discs.
“Original” front panel fitted to our 924 when we bought it in 2015. Started repairing it and then bought a new one anyway 
bonus points for brand new Vauxhall Corsa C bumper in the background, which I panic-bought after an argument with some wildlife on the roads one night.
