This is probably one of the most serious post I will made here for now.
If you don't know the context of what happened to Aqua (from Hololive) I'll give the context and my thoughts in separate threads

She made a Smash bros Ultimate (smash bros Special) stream some time ago.
She played with her viewers 1v1 matches.
The things is that Abadango, one of the most famous and stronger smash bros players showed up, donated an amount of 10000 and asked Aqua to play with him

Aqua asked for permission to both the staff and her viewers because she had in mind ending the stream in that moment., both parts were in agree. Aqua played a Bo3 with Abadango, and had a lot of fun but there was a problem.

For some reason, some fanbase showed up very angry and pissed, because they felt Aqua gave an special treatment to Abadango (she was playing one match per viewer) but it was a Best of three (Bo3) match with Abadango (the first who wins two game has the victory)

Aqua was very sad about some fans being rude to her and made an apology video the next day where she even cried. Some of her partners like Coco made a collaboration just to talk with her and make her feel better.

My thoughts:

Ok, first of all, I can understand both parts, Aqua and toxic fandom.
Aqua was very exited because it was one of the best players in the world who invite her to play.
Toxic fanbase was jealous because she gave special treatment to Abadango.

But that was not the case I think. I mean, Abadango donated a big amount and he has a lot of reputation, if Aqua wanted to give him an special treatment, he deserves it in some ways.
