disney fans scare me bc it feels cultish to me- like yeah the movies are fun but they own like every media corporation u can think of, underpay and overwork artists, hold their artists in ridiculously restrictive contracts, etc.. why defend them bc u relate to a princess?

did y’all know that the us gov literally hired disney to repair relations w south america by making shorts about several south american countries in the 1940s/50s? and only one of them was good? surprise it was the only one directed and designed by a woman :)

this is disgusting. look at this. disney owns ALL of it. disney is a monopoly sitting comfortably under capitalism & needs to be disassembled. this hurts small art studios that have actual messages and ideas to share. living your life without consuming disney is near impossible.
