I first picked this scripture to read to my kids tonight before family prayer and to relate it to our world.

Then I noticed the Chiasmus I hadn't previously.

Though I would put the last sentence after the semicolon starting with "therefore" as the beginning of v.31 to balance the equation.

Notice the polarity and focus of the pinnacle. Good v. Evil. Hearts again. Intentions, desires and KNOWING.
Globalism/slavery in v.29
Zion/freedom in v.30

Dark to light.
It includes 26 and 33 too.

Gathering == placed armies
To defend etc. == Good desire (see v.30)
They were prepared == he was prepared
