I think because this zone is typically home to alienated/incels etc that everyone assumes I'm lying when I describe having had a pretty normal life. It's really odd. I'm like "I had friends in high school" & people are like "Yeah right liar"-- I'm sorry you had a hard time guys.
You wouldn't believe how thoroughly normie I am. Maybe that's what sets people off-- that I'm not "supposed" to be here because I'm not suicidally depressed & alienated or mentally ill etc. I just wanted to talk about literature & make jokes about people's stupid ideologies lol.
You know most of the good posters are the most "normie" people, right? Having met many of them irl-- they're usually only remarkable in that they're more interesting than "normies" (who are closer to the sort of resentful autism found here than not).
It's just a weird feeling to be one of the most "sane" members of my irl community-- the sort of person people ask advice from-- & then online I'm considered a crank by people who are legitimately mentally ill. Ppo who "summon demons" with pagan blood magic say I'm "cringe" lol
People who have only read terrorist manifestos & take selfies of themselves doing roman salutes with skull masks on tell me that I'm "unhinged."

People who believe the world is actually flat (not as a meme) & think that magic is real tell me I'm "not a serious person."
My favorite-- people whose only personality trait is lifting weights & saying the n-word on anonymous accounts in between gaming/gooning sessions tell me I'm a "pseudo-intellectual" because I don't think "Jews" is the answer to every question.
You know most normies are weirdo hyper-obsessed autists for particular pop-media franchises now, right? The normative "sports statistics" autism of "normal people" dispersed over the generations into the various funko-pop merchandise-laden "superfans" of today.
Somehow-- I'm supposed to be the weirdo because I'm married, read lots of books, run/bike regularly, enjoy hiking, know how to cook, etc-- but I'm a weirdo because I don't subscribe to some niche ideology created by grifters centered on racial/sexual ressentiment & "esotericism"?
