$CRV has NOT been generated by @CurveFinance yet, but I'm getting lots of questions. Here's some FAQs:

1⃣When will CRV release? We don't know but feels like any day now.

2⃣Is CRV being auctioned? No, it's being rewarded to all those who have and will participate as Curve LPs.
3⃣Is CRV able to be earned? Yes. You can become an LP in any of the 7 @CurveFinance pools now or in the future. CRV is being rewarded retroactively and after token generation.

4⃣If I earned CRV, will it be airdropped? No. You'll go to claim it on http://curve.fi .
5⃣Will pre-CRV LPs get all their CRV at once? No. It'll vest over 1 year.

6⃣Will I be able to buy CRV? Likely, because in DeFi once the token is generated and LPs claim it, anyone holding it can add liquidity to a DEX like Uniswap and offer it for sale.
7⃣What's the supply of CRV and who else will be vesting/earning/receiving CRV? See breakdown below from a guide by @CurveFinance

8⃣Will CRV be on a centralized exchange?

Of course it will list. When? No idea. Those blood-sucking CEXs will list CRV as soon as it explodes onto the market. The funny thing is they won't get any listing fees because DEXs are taking over and they're desperate.

9⃣How much CRV will I earn with a certain amount of liquidity in Curve?

I have no idea! But bookmark this and guessing it'll provide a new calculator to forecast Return on Liquidity (RoL) when CRV starts distributing.
