Wanna talk Instagram, #hesm?

Let’s face it ... Instagram is MORE than just a place for pretty photos (although pretty photos are still v much appreciated).

It’s a place for conversation – genuine, direct conversation. And it’s time we strategize to create those conversations.
DMs are the 👏 best 👏 tool 👏 for a one-on-one experience.

As we roll out fall plans, people have a lot of questions – and understandably so.

And as we inch closer to the fall and pivot some existing plans, well ... let’s just say I put A LOT of time into DMs this past month.
In July alone, we received ≈800 DMs – double the most DMs we’ve received in a single month.

And we sent ≈600 DMs – 5 times more than the most we’ve sent in a single month this year.

... That’s a lot of time spent in DMs.
But that also means a LOT of students got answers to questions.

Are DMs time consuming? Yes.
Can it get overwhelming? Absolutely.
Do I know all the answers? No.

But did I provide some help that students might not have gotten anywhere else? Sure did and I’m glad I could help. 🤗
