Matt Turner is the only American GK in MLS or an equivalent/better league who is both a starter for his club and is under the age of 27. (He's 26.)

Steffen is a big-club backup now. Horvath & Bono are stuck as #2s. Gonzalez got cut and may face criminal charges.
I've written about this before, but now that Gonzalez's contract was terminated it's official.

GKs develop late and have unexpected paths (see: Turner), but there's a long road from "starter for the 1st time" to "NT-ready".
Regardless of how optimistic you may be about some of the younger prospects, all the big ones are years away from NT contention. It's almost unavoidable that the USMNT is going to be very thin at this position for the medium term — notable with Steffen's recurring knee problems.
Here's who I've got. (Still could be some surprises emerging from USL or college from these age groups)

95: A. Zendejas, E. Horvath, B. Edwards, Z. Steffen, M. Nelson
96: E. Panicco, L. Barraza
97: D. Callender, J. Klinsmann, J. Marcinkowski, J. Vom Steeg, M. Stajduhar
98: B. Diaz, M. Freese, K. Silva
99: E. Lopez, T. Muse, P. Ejimadu, C. Avilez, (B. Scott out of contract)
00: C. Dos Santos
There are 17 GKs born between 97-99 under contract in USL or USL1 so maybe one of them emerges.
There are extremely few pro GK 2000s for some reason. Other than Dos Santos just Jacob Samnik (backup at relegated Hobro) and Nicholas Ammeter (starter in Swiss second div).

Still time for some to emerge from NCAA ball. Same for 99s.
Other younger pros (more will emerge)

01: D. Ochoa, J. Pulskamp, N. Defreitas-Hansen*, B. Schwake, L. Lewis, J. Jaeger, H. Holguin*
02: A. Cervantes, A. Rodriguez, D. Las, B. Thompson, E. Wady, T. Nozawa, C. Odunze, R. Rios*
