Inspired scripture is worthless apart from an inspired reading.

Inspired scripture tells us that God is love and that love is the greatest of all.

If our reading of the Bible inspires us to hate our enemies and justify war and to arrogantly assume that God endorses it all...
...we are reading the Bible all wrong.

If we read the Holy Bible without the Holy Spirit, we’d be better off without it!

The chief priests and the Pharisees believed in the Holy Bible, but they resisted the Holy Spirit—the spirit of love, grace, and advocacy.
Thus the chief priests and the Pharisees fought against the one who is the Word of God...while quoting chapter and verse.

They used the Bible to justify their antagonism toward the Word of God. They didn’t submit to scripture, they used it as a weapon.
