This article is jam packed with just some of the stuff we've been working in #Ultra's blockchain team. The majority of our focus is making #EOSIO more user and business friendly and it shines through here. #THREAD https://twitter.com/ultra_io/status/1291419056541753344
One of my favorite things about this is the predicate system, which solves a massive problem that has plagued the EOS Mainnet for a very long time. Right now if you want to sponsor transactions for your users you have to do very hacky and backwards things like use centralized
custom API services (on or off chain) which co-sign your transactions. These not only potentially have dangerous drawbacks if done incorrectly, but also add in a global point of failure for your entire application stack as well as require effort to setup, manage and maintain.
With Ultra's on-chain predicate system you no longer have to worry about any of that in order to pay for your user's blockchain resources, ensuring their experience is a good one within YOUR application, regardless of the tech underneath.
On top of that the system is as flexible or as rigid as you want it to be. You define the rules which allow users to interact with your smart contracts (or even other's), and can do so in an atomic way on-chain.
To sum it up, this is one of the things we've added which excites me purely due to the intimate knowledge I have of the struggles of both developers and users on EOSIO blockchains, and makes me absolutely proud to be part of the excellent teams working at Ultra.
