It is Election Day and I have had people ask about what's going to happen tonight. I have a few thoughts:

Dr. Bush & Dr. Flinn spent a lot of $$ and I think the non-Sethi/Hagerty vote is not talked about a lot. I will be interested to see if that gets close to 10% and if that is in places like Lincoln (only non-TN DMA county) and west TN

2/7 #TNSen
The folks at SoS office led by @sectrehargett and @MarkGoinsTN do a great job at counting votes but with more AB this time around, I am curious to see if there's lag time. With their track record, probably not.

Speaking of AB vote, it has been historically around 2% for elections. Will that number be around 15-20% of total vote? More?

Also AB/EV voting is usually around 50-55% of total vote. Will that be same or will it be more like 60-65%?

Where to look for early results? I went back and looked at what precincts were the bellwether precincts in 2018 #TNGov race. Not scientific but interesting nonetheless:

5/7 #TNSen
- Paint Rock precinct in Roane
- Spring City South precinct in Rhea
- Hixson 1 precinct in Hamilton
- West Pines precinct in Greene
- Chilhowee View precinct in Blount
- Brock precinct in Union
- Greenback in Loudon

What do they all have in common?

6/7 #TNSen
These swing precincts are all in east Tennessee.

Where did the top 2 #TNSen candidates spend the bulk of the last 2 days of the campaign? East Tennessee

Despite GOP power moving to middle TN over last few years, #EastTNStillMatters
