This deserted bench reminds me of the random benches they used to build on trafficky green spaces in Milton Keynes where I grew up. No one ever, ever sat there - the point was represent rather than actually produce public space.
Love to chain up my bike, and then trudge across 200m of blasted heath towards my deracinated cube.
