I'm gonna divide it in parts so it's more organized!

my entire point is that we as a society have to grow into a reality that makes it *normal* for the people in a book/movie/whatever to be diverse! and we can't do that if the only people that write about them are the specific people from each community. that's not how it works.
always, always support poc and lgbt+ authors and understand that yes, their stories (if about their own community) have more truth and authenticity. but they can coexist with authors from other communities writing about other people that don't resemble themselves +
it's the entire point of writing in the first place. not everything is an autobiography!!! +
i know a lot of people will attack me for saying this, and you're welcome to discuss everything really.

also god there's so many factors, I'm literally gonna write my thesis paper on this and there's So many more things worth mentioning but this will take so long +
td;lr
- anyone can write about whatever they want, but they should do research
- someone's approach at a minority doesn't always have to be 100% positive, because minorities are PEOPLE. & PEOPLE can do whatever the fuck they want, not just white cishet men
- ur faves dont have +
to be perfect for them to be ur faves
- writing something DOES NOT EQUAL having the same ideals
- art isn't policeable
- being a murderer is worse than being homophobic just, fyi

well yeah i stand by all this and im open to hearing others opinions as well
bye
