if we can acknowledge OUR privilege and ways we benefit from white supremacy even while experiencing internal violence and microsgressions then y’all who come exclusively from colonizers should be working 10x as hard. it’s embarrassing.
super exhausting by the way, to have to be the one to hold my white friends accountable while also being the brownest person in the room at times. and other times, being the whitest person in the room...
anyways the point are as follows: being mixed race is an identity in itself on top of the other races u idenify with (Black, indigenous, white, etc) and makes it hard to feel like you fit in. and also white people should be doing more, is this news to anyone? ok. /thread
