Today seems like a good day to remind people that 97% of Planned Parenthood's services have noting to do with abortion. Those services include routine physicals, flu shots, cancer screenings, rape crisis counseling referrals, UTI treatment, pregnancy testing, prenatal services...
postpartum exams, childbirth classes, adoption referrals, thyroid screenings, tetnus vaccinations, helping quitting smoking, high blood pressure screenings, access to birth control (pill, patch, condoms, IUD, etc.), men's sterilization, emergency contraception...
pregnancy counseling, miscarriage counseling, fertility education, cholesterol screenings, STD/STI screenings and prevention, HIV screenings and prevention, trans health services, LGBTQ health services, zika prevention and literally so much more.
Calls to sue and dissolve Planned Parenthood are calls to deny women of basic healthcare, and don't let anyone tell you otherwise.
