What I think this FBI investigation will lead to is that **some** of the money the oligarch's were laundering didn't come from their bank or Ukrainian citizens; it was part of the billions of stolen US taxpayer money that @RudyGiuliani has been tracking down for 2+ yrs now.
Right now, the FBI's focus appears to be on the front companies these Ukrainian oligarch's used to buy US real estate & businesses after they'd laundered the money through numerous shell companies.
Hence the raids in Cleveland and Miami.
