In 2016, ex-supervisor Brenda Snipes illegally destroyed paper ballots in DWS vs @Tim_Canova (thread)

SC reached out to Supervisor Antonacci to ask why the Supervisor of Elections-who's supposed to be neutral-would be appearing in an election event hosted by DWS a day before early voting begins in Broward County...particularly given history of illegal election activity in 2016...

A spokesperson for Antonacci told us: "We feel it is appropriate to participate in public forums with sitting elected officials. We pride ourselves on being accessible, transparent and accountable."

To be clear, this isn't merely a "public event"...

It is an event hosted by DWS, the longtime incumbent, a day before early voting begins in Broward County. Her progressive opponent @JENFL23 was not invited to participate...

So the supervisor of elections is essentially joining a campaign event for the sitting incumbent.

In 2016, then-Broward Supervisor Brenda Snipes illegally destroyed paper ballots in the primary bw DWS and Tim Canova. Snipes was known to be chummy with DWS

For the 2020 primary between DWS and @JENFL23, a bipartisan citizen's audit has requested that Supervisor of Elections Antonacci to commit to saving the pictures of the daily reports from each voting machine—which is mandated by law.

Thus far, he has not committed to do so.
