There’s a feeling I get when I see some content on twitter.

The *really* detailed, thoughtful content.

The stuff that I really cannot possibly grasp in passing / on a skim.

That makes my brain go “Aahhhhhhhh 😵
It’s like sand slipping through my fingers.

Like I *know* it will be valuable in some other context... but now is not the time.

And then I say “well I’ll just save it for later”

*adds to bookmarks*
*sends to readwise*
Or
*scrolls past with the slight sadness of loss*
I *feel* there’s a better way.

To keep it all for when I’ll need it.

To have it spontaneously resurface at some future time when I’ll whisper “thank you” to my past self.

But then I think “that’s fine, there will be more resonant content”
If you were given an infinite stream of excellent content, what would you do? How would you cope? What would you keep?

Or would you keep anything? Knowing that it’s infinite.
Some spices for the *nuance soup* I’m brewing.

“Forgetting is a superpower.”

"As I go through life, I forget 99% of what happens to me which is a great filter for what is interesting."
