Dave and Clare Edwards - a Tory-voting businessman and a nurse - are among four witnesses who have told a joint investigation by @dailymirror and @guardian they believe they saw the PM's top aide back in County Durham on the morning of April 19 - and the first to go public.

Mirror reporters drove the route one quiet Sunday morning - obviously after lockdown was over - and it took three hours and 35 minutes, driving in line with the speed limit.
