2 angry dad's in a row sent videos, selfishly advocating for school reopening without recognizing how their wishes would put staff, other kids and other families at risk.

I thank @MCPS for keeping our kids safe and home for the 1st semester.

The first dad was talking how his kids would suffer because of IEP's and the fact that his kids won't learn.

Guess what? HELP YOUR KIDS. My son has severe ADHD and Tourette's and his dad and I could support him last year and he made honor roll both quarters.

It is clear that these parents are NOT looking out for their kids. They want to hand over the responsiblity for raising and teaching their kids. They are not able to do it themselves.

Why should my kid risk getting sick because you are unable to help your kid?

No one can promise that their kid is not sick, even if they have no symptoms. Your ONE kid could be asymptomatic, go to a classroom, infect the teachers, lunch lady, security guard and 10 other kids, who then bring it home to THEIR houses.

Stop being selfish. Keep school closed.
