implemented back into his game. Simple but extremely effective is what I describe it as! Less frequent turns makes him a lot more unpredictable. His shoulder drops have been utilised in a way that allows him to take players out of the game. Big aspect of his game heās improved
substantially on is his performances defensively. Both his positional awareness and defensive work rate has gone up a level, winning tackles and providing tenacity. His high energy pressing style and intent to win the ball back quickly further.
forward has fitted perfectly into MA's system. What I like about him is that heās able to quickly restore back into his position when pressing high up, and not leaving Xhaka isolated. Statistically, heās been a standout both in and out of possession when compared to his teammates

progression. In possession, Ceballos is a far more influential player to Torreira, possessing better attributes. The question was whether he could maintain tight distances and positional discipline with Granit, and provide the bite Lucas provides. And he has shown to do just that
What I like about Dani is his ability to maintain consistent performance levels against the top sides. He stood out in all the games against Wolves, City, Chelsea and even Spurs, despite losing that match. Complete midfield performances from him, always showing for the ball and
trying to maintain fluidity and tempo in our play. Whether its a loan, or signing him on for 22M, we have to do it. Even if it doesn't work out, continuous market inflation will mean that we should still profit from him.
Statistically, in terms of G/A ,his numbers aren't great. But we must remember that, currently he is playing in a midfield pivot where you have to remain in close proximity with his midfield partner. This means that Dani hasn't had the freedom to provide a consistent influence in
the final third. Eventually, MA will transition to a 4-3-3 with two attacking midfielders drifting in between the lines. I'm confident that Dani, integrated into this system, will improve on his productivity. Potentially, with Partey and Coutinho coming in, we suddenly look a lot
stronger within central midfield. Against teams who deploy a low block system, trio of Partey-Coutinho-Ceballos is exciting, with PC and DC drifting in between the lines and providing creativity. If Coutinho plays on the wing, a midfield of Xhaka-Partey-Ceballos also works
well. But what is clear is that Dani can be an integral member to the side. Still only 23 and his traits can be further refined under MA. The rise in his performances under our Spanish coach is really encouraging and I can see him transitioning these performances into next season
