Now I know people hate on Sakura for no reason but it’s absolutely insane to me that Kishimoto did all that to show the extent of the pressure on Naruto’s shoulders due to his will to get Sasuke back, and people would disregard it and reduce it to him being sad about Sakura’s lie
Y’all hate Sakura ok but also disrespect Naruto by not recognizing his emotions as more complex than that. He was worried about Sasuke, not a fake confession.

This is classic in this fandom. Most Sakura drags are the fruit of double standard, and most of the time make other characters, here Naruto, seem like a one-dimensional loser with misplaced feelings.
