I’m going to assume he’s purposefully lying about the history of the Choctaw Freedmen because that seems less an embarrassing than fundamentally not understanding your tribe’s history as the Chief.
The @choctawnationOK is literally denying ever having owned slaves by saying the Choctaw Freedmen are somehow African America and the US government is somehow responsible for slavery that occurred in a Nation outside of the United States.
When freedmen talk about addressing anti-blackness in the 5 SE tribes this is a really great example....
