If you're tired of how Juve have played, fed up with the tactics, Sarri, the players, then don't bother watching tomorrow.
If your sole interest resolves around one player in a squad of 23, don't bother watching.
If you're waiting with your #Sarriout, don't bother watching.
This club has changed in ways I can't entirely put into words - Some of it for the better, some of it for the worse, but it's still Juventus. I don't think we achieved a fraction of our potential this season, but that is in no way down to one man alone....
The 'issues' go way beyond the man on the bench. Some of these players have showed signs of adapting, then reverted to a 'safety first' attitude at multiple times this season. At Napoli, he created something from the ground on up, he 'built' a team....
...at Juventus, he had 23 egos to juggle and manage and try and create some semblance of harmony. I don't know if he was the right man for the job, but the table doesn't lie - Even with the players delivering sub-par performances, he still delievered a title in....
....what was the arguably one of the tougher recent seasons in Serie A. Sacking him won't help us get any closer to the CL - Even if we hired Pep, he'd have the same issues to overcome that Sarri has. I'd rather stick with him for another year, but this time, actually...
...back him, invest in players that are prepared to work the way he wants, and trim the fat from this bloated squad. You either commit to a wholesale change and go all the way, this half-measure of hoping the players would adapt was neither here nor there.
Long story short, i don't want us to become another cash rich club with a massive squad where the players hold sway and managers come and go each season because they can;t find a way to get the players to commit and work together. This season had high points and low points....
....but none of that is one man's shoulders. The accountability lies with the management, the squad & Sarri. Tomorrow, we go all out and show something, or we fade & wither for another season. Either way, until it's over, everything is possible. If you don't believe, don't watch.
I'm not judging anyone - that doesn;t interest me. Be you a day one Juve supporter from tomorrow or a 30-year veteran, if you are prepared to back the team, from minute 1 to the 90th, thats my kind of Juventino. Let's hope we get it done. Cheers
