Imagine if we restricted gun access as passionately as we restrict abortion access. Imagine if we read police reports as skeptically as we read women's reports of sexual assault. Imagine if we scrutinized the deeds of powerful men as critically as we scrutinize women's bodies.
The patriarchy is not so much easy to enforce as it is the starting point of all our endeavors. Of course it's easy to police high school students' skirts but not their masks. All of human culture exists as scaffolding for the former; the latter involves men & boys.
