If you have submitted a proposal for the Social Capital Climate Change fund challenge that @chamath posted, I want to encourage you to not wait until November to continue working and networking with the other people who applied. https://twitter.com/JohnPistotti/status/1288148286931480576
I recently connected with @ShanuMathew93 who you should definitely follow. We discussed Michael Shellenberger's book Apocalypse Never I just started reading, how some of his claims cherry-pick data, and feasibility of nuclear. Here's a thread he sent me. https://twitter.com/Marcusdstewart/status/1278133212959645697?s=20
Another great follow is @jynpai who had some insightful comments on Chamath's original thread. He has some really interesting tweets and retweets about environmentalism, including ocean plastics which is a really important issue for me. https://twitter.com/circulareconomy/status/1286650383255904259?s=20
Some other interesting folks in the thread include @kumi360, @udi, @MrTreadgold, @dani_a0, and @JamesLBelcher. I also found the work of @cleantechnica journalist @mbarnardca very insightful when I was doing research. These people have a unique approach to address #climatechange.
My point behind these tweets is that just like how @chamath isn't waiting for someone else to solve climate change, we can all take steps towards this goal even if it starts with educating ourselves and expanding our network. Don't miss out on an opportunity to learn and grow. 📈
Remember that the 410 (or maybe 900+ LOL!) people who applied are not your competition. We are all on the same team when it comes to combatting climate change. Best of luck. Keep learning and "be the change you wish to see in the world." 🌎🌍🌏

I am particularly interested in restorative efforts as we turn towards mitigation and environmental rehabilitation. https://twitter.com/leepnet/status/1305005893042356224?s=21 https://twitter.com/leepnet/status/1305005893042356224
