Given the current financial model of the ISL, clubs will just focus on first team.
And plus given that the ISL is a 10 team league I’m sure people will want to tune in just to watch 2 maybe 3 teams compete against each other teach year

I’m sure you’ve seen the attendance drop in the “big football states” once the team is doing poorly. It’ll be the same thing every year. Why watch when you know your team can’t compete. Personally I think the salary cap exists not only to give all teams a chance
But also to allow teams to allocate resources to develop players, create a good competition for fans. Especially since the league is still so young.
