For couples eager to call it quits after the infatuation has worn off or to throw in the towel because everything isn't "perfect": here's some food for thought:

(A thread)
Lifelong commitment is not what most people think it is. It's not waking up every morning to eat breakfast together. It's not cuddling in bed together while you both fall asleep. It's not a clean home filled with laughter and sex everyday.
It's someone who always steals the damn covers. Someone who snores when you're a light sleeper. It's slammed doors and words that cut you deep because of who they're from.
It's stubbornly disagreeing and giving each other the silent treatment because neither of you are willing to give up until someone finally does and you both can heal with a hug.
It's coming home to the same person every single day who loves and cares about you, despite your many, many flaws. Because you're you, and that's who they always wanted from the start.
It's about laughing about that one time(many times) you accidentally did something really stupid. It's about dirty laundry and unmade beds. It's about toilet seats left up and toilet paper the wrong way on the holder. It's also about helping each other with all the hard work.
It's about swallowing all those words you know will hurt them most and swallowing your pride. It's about accepting you may have to get fast food again instead of cooking and not sitting together because of how crazy your days were.
It's about on your worst days when you just can't manage anymore, how your love lays down with you and can't come up with the best words to help, but they're there for you until you're done crying, because that's exactly what you needed. I
It's about loving the person who makes you more insane than anyone because they just. Don't. Get. It. Sometimes.
Loving someone isn't easy. Sometimes, it's REALLY hard. The grass isn't always greener on the other side. Remember who loves you and cares for you, despite your flaws.

They are why you signed up for this in the first place. ❤️💀💀❤️
