It's not fearmongering, Alberta. @jkenney and the @Alberta_UCP are fundamentally changing this province to push more and more of our taxpayer dollars into the coffers of private corporations and execs (i.e. UCP donors). Scratch my back, and I'll scratch yours, right...?
It's well documented that private healthcare costs FAR more. I'm no economist, but would say that there's no surprise there, since you have similar costs of delivery, PLUS profit margin and pressure to push unnecessary procedures for financial gain. Am I wrong?
Healthcare delivery will likely be improved for the wealthy. In a system like this, those who can drop thousands to go to the front of the line will inevitably get better care at the expense of those who can't.
